IMG_7532-2-1-2-22015 has been an incredibly exciting year for Revlogs and the Revlogs Group. On the one hand, it’s hard to believe we are almost halfway through the year. And on the other it’s almost impossible to fathom how we have packed so much into five short months…

Growth in 2015

There are loads of ways to measure success but one of the easiest is to look at the numbers. In the first 5 months of the year Revlogs has expanded in the following ways:

  • Our fleet has grown by 15%
  • Our staff numbers have increased by 8%
  • Our profits are up 14%

And that’s just Revlogs itself – our younger sibling Revteq has had even more of a growth spurt!

As our business has expanded over the past few years our website has changed very little. Not any more! We’ve given it a significant content and design overhaul and we feel that it now offers a very true representation of who we are, as well as acting as the definitive resource on reverse logistics in Africa. If you haven’t already done so, please check out the new www.revlogs.co.za.

Revlogs comes to Limpopo

Revlogs has just opened in Polokwane. We have a brand new warehouse, fleet and staff which together service nine stores throughout South Africa’s most northerly province. Our trucks visit each and every store at least three times a week, and we’re racking up some serious mileage in the process. On a serious note, it’s a great privilege to be able to provide the residents of one of South Africa’s more far-flung provinces with a ‘big city’ returns experience.

Revteq technicians on the road

Our repairs division, Revteq, can now services large appliances like fridges, dishwashers and washing machines and even brown goods like computers and TVs in the comfort of consumers’ homes. Our branded vehicles are currently roaming the streets of Joburg and Cape Town, but the service is proving extremely popular and we plan to expand it to other urban centres in the near future.

New clients

iNCHQHYMWe’ve embarked upon a few very exciting new contracts in the first half of this year:

  • We’re doing complete back-end management for Groupon.
  • Hi-Fi Corporation have contracted us to do on- and off-site assessments and repairs.
  • Smartphone and tablet manufacturer Prestigio have chosen us to do their assessments, repairs and re-selling.

These are the projects we’ve already started working on, but there are quite a few exciting prospects in the pipeline. As the adage goes, ‘watch this space!’
